Unlike most herbal remedies in phytoembryotherapy, mistletoe is a parasite that feeds on its host during the summer and actively grows during the winter. Our herbal remedy is derived from wild apple mistletoe, harvested in early winter. It is primarily an anti-sclerotic agent for the vascular system, with side effects that support the kidneys (think long-term high blood pressure), gynecological (cysts), and neurological (migraines).
On a spiritual and mental-emotional level, young mistletoe shoots help support well-being during the low light of winter, or emotional exhaustion.
