Wild Mediterranean oregano from Turkey standardized to 75–85% carvacrol content is used to formulate Oregano SAP .

Oregano oil extract has demonstrated antioxidant, antimicrobial, and antiviral properties. Carvacrol is one of nature's most powerful antimicrobials, with beneficial effects against several strains of Gram-positive and negative bacteria and several species of fungi and yeasts.

Oregano oil has antiseptic, anti-inflammatory, and analgesic properties. Therefore, the oil can be used topically on cuts or grazes to prevent infection, on fungal infections such as athlete's foot, and on the gums to help reduce pain.
