Curcum-Evail is a patent-pending, highly bioavailable curcuminoid formula. This product contains a unique combination of three health-promoting bioactive curcuminoids: curcumin, bisdemethoxy curcumin, and demethoxy curcumin, harmonized with turmeric oil. These three curcuminoids are the most potent, protective, and well-studied constituents of turmeric root. Naturally sourced turmeric root powder contains only 5-7% curcumin, while the blend in Curcum-Evail is 95% concentrated curcuminoids, with curcumin accounting for 70%.

The crystalline structure of curcumin, among other things, explains its difficult absorption from the gastrointestinal tract. According to the researchers: "The potential health benefits of curcumin are limited by its low solubility, poor intestinal absorption, and rapid metabolism and elimination." As a result, Curcum-Evail is formulated using the new Designs for Health Evail process, which enhances the release and absorption of curcumin in this all-natural formulation. This process uses a proprietary blend of turmeric oil, sunflower lecithin, and vitamin E, avoiding the use of potentially harmful surfactants. This technology increases the release rate while reducing nutrient absorption time, which may contribute to superior effects even at lower dosages.

Curcum-Evail is unique in that it has demonstrated conclusive results in increasing plasma levels of tetrahydrocurcumin, curcumin, demethoxycurcumin, and bisdemethoxycurcumin. Tetrahydrocurcumin is a major metabolite derived from curcumin that has shown remarkable antioxidant properties surpassing those of curcumin alone. Compared to some reference products containing equal concentrations of curcuminoids, Curcum-Evail showed significantly higher absorption with plasma levels of tetrahydrocurcumin nearly 30 times higher. The area under the curve (AUC) of the plasma concentrations of the three curcuminoids in this formula were much higher than those of the reference products.
