Amino-D-Tox™ is a synergistic formula designed to promote healthy phase II liver detoxification. The environment we live in is increasingly toxic. This overload on the body, induced by various toxic substances in the environment, namely pesticides, herbicides, chemical solvents, xenobiotics and industrial chemicals of all kinds, reaches us through our food, our water, the air we breathe as well as transgenerational inheritance via alteration of the epigenome10. Amino-D-Tox™ was formulated to upregulate Phase II detoxification. This formula is free of herbs, minerals, and B vitamins, as these are also believed to upregulate Phase I detoxification.

Phase II detoxification requires amino acids, sulfur (sulfur-containing amino acids), and glutathione. Methionine, cysteine, and taurine are the three most common sulfur-containing amino acids. MSM also provides sulfur, as does glutathione (made up of three amino acids).
